CAFS Organizes a Meeting in Collaboration with the French Embassy, the French Ministry of Economy and Finance, and COFACE

The Saudi French Business Council (CAFS) organized a meeting in collaboration with the French Embassy, the French Ministry of Economy and Finance, and COFACE on 13 January 2026 at the Federation of Saudi Chambers.

The meeting provided an opportunity to welcome a delegation from the French Ministry of Economy and Finance, responsible for the renegotiation of the French–Saudi Tax Treaty, highlighting the ongoing efforts to strengthen the economic and fiscal framework between the two countries.

The event also marked the first official visit to Saudi Arabia of Mr. Xavier Durand, Global CEO of COFACE. During the meeting, Mr. Durand and Ms. Abeer Albashrawi, Vice President of Marsh Middle East and Africa, addressed global economic conditions, emerging risks, and provided an update on COFACE’s ‘Power the Core’ strategy.

This meeting reflects the shared commitment of Saudi Arabia and France to deepen bilateral cooperation and enhance economic partnerships, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, particularly in fostering investment, trade growth, and international economic collaboration.

During the meeting, CAFS was represented by its President, Dr. Mohammed Bin Laden, and its Vice Presidents, H.H. Princess Noura Faisal Al Saud and Eng. Faiz Al-Elweet.
